Life Consulting is about helping people grow in connecting to themselves. We always have the power to grow in our relationship with ourselves, no matter what the circumstances are or what the people around us are doing. The more we understand our emotions, triggers, survival responses, and our story the more we can repair and reconcile with ourselves.

THE THREE PILLARS OF HEALING

Compassion:
Research shows that our brains get stuck in pain without a felt sense of attunement—feeling seen, heard, understood, and like you make sense. My role is to model compassion and attunement, guiding you in healing and developing a relationship with yourself that reflects this same warmth and understanding.

Regulation:
The nervous system is the control center for how we feel and respond to life. It determines whether we feel calm or on alert, get stuck in stress or find peace, and how we handle challenges. It influences what thoughts run through our minds, how safe we feel, what we believe about the future, how we connect with others, and our physical health.

Ownership (Empowerment):
Painful and traumatic experiences always contain a sense of powerlessness. A vital part of healing is the safety that comes from finding our power again. Here are a few ways I can help you grow your sense of empowerment:

  •    Leveraging Neuroplasticity: Our brains are neuroplastic, and our nervous systems can be trained. No matter what you’ve been through or how long you’ve felt stuck, you can change your brain and body, and therefore, change your life.
  •    Rewriting Beliefs: A foundation for empowerment is understanding the beliefs we developed from our experiences (family, culture, religion, politics, etc) and how they are impacting our lives. This awareness allows us to identify which beliefs support our well-being and which do not, giving us the power to redefine them and create the life we want. As adults, we can shape our future by reinforcing old, limiting beliefs or adopting new ones aligned with love, compassion, and healing.
  •    Expanding Choices: I help you retrain your brain to recognize there are more choices available in any given situation than you have realized. This allows you to feel a sense of power and autonomy in every circumstance.
  •    Finding Your Voice: So many of us struggle with powerlessness. One way we heal is to practice voicing our needs, sharing our feelings, and setting healthy boundaries.
